Job description

We are looking for a Managed File Transfer Engineer with Unix .
The overall scope is managing, securing, adding new transfers, and controlling file transfers on thousands of servers with a different configuration for ~500 external customers. FT team handles tens of thousands of file transfers daily.
Key responsibilities:
·  Service maintenance related to file transfer environment
·  Define objectives by analyzing user requirements.
·  Installation, configuration, and distribution/maintenance of Connect Direct, Drecom, Dremove on the Unix/Win/SAP environment; preparation, adding and monitoring of file transfers
·  Creating new transfers
·  Making changes in already existing transfers such as rescheduling, changing source and destination server, name, or type of moving files etc.
·  Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience required
·  3+ years of experience as a Unix/Linux administrator or in Scheduling Services
·  Experience installing and configuring software/server for new customers required
·  Experience with Software Requirements and Software Development Documentation
·  Capable of adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and creative
·  Experience interacting and coordinating across multiple technical and business teams
·  Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
·  Must have strong customer-facing skills
·  Exhibit strong presentation skills
·  Very good written and verbal English
·  A Team player
·  Must have knowledge on Unix/Linux based servers
·  Willing to work on “call duty” and Weekend implementation changes

·  Experience utilizing UC4/Automic or other batch scheduling systems
·  Experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies
·  Experience with UNIX technologies
·  Experience with Network technologies and programming concepts
·  Experience in engaging with vendors to assist in the resolution of incidents
·  Experience with document management technologies
·  Experience with generating reports and technical documentation
·  Experience in using a service management “ticketing” system to manage workload such as ServiceNow (preferred), Remedy, or similar.
·  Familiarity with z/OS and XINFO is an advantage
·  German language is an advantage
