Linux Engineer - 3rd Level Support

Within the IBM Client Innovation Centre our professionals provide high level engineering service and ensure the operation of business-critical IT systems of different clients. We are looking for candidates Linux 3rd level engineer, who will be responsible for the operation of Linux, Unix, and/or Middleware based products from different vendors, 8/5 (office time).

RESPONSIBILITIES

· 
Take responsibility for mission critical Linux and Middleware systems

· 
Investigate / troubleshoot issues

· 
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

· 
Very strong Linux Administration and troubleshooting skills, preferably Red Hat Linux.

· 
Knowledge of web servers, security, DNS, filesystems.

· 
Experience with both physical and virtualization server infrastructure

· 
Display your technical prowess and patience to troubleshoot critical issues under pressure

· 
Work with ITIL
