Design and develop cooling systems and cooling technologies for high end computer servers from concept through market introduction. This includes developing cooling solutions that span from component, to server, to system, to data center level. Specific responsibilities include developing cooling concepts, selecting or developing cooling components, performing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, performing early characterization and bench testing, and performing full functional system level testing for thermal compliance, performing long term qualification testing for component and system level quality as well as failure analysis and quality management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A PhD in Mechanical Engineering with research focus on electronics cooling is required. Familiarity with thermal laboratory testing including the use of thermocouples, data loggers, dada analysis and reduction techniques, flow benches and related equipment is required. The candidate will be familiar with free and forced air cooling, heat sink design, thermal interface materials, fan and blower design as well as water cooling / liquid design including pumps, cold plates, manifolds, quick connects and related hardware. Demonstrated ability to work with a group of peers, as well as leadership, and communication skills are required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
