Full Stack Web Programmer

Job description

The Intellectual Property Team is seeking a software engineering professional to join our small, non-traditional programming project -- building a customized, mobile-ready web application for our team to use to track deals that we engage on. The successful candidate for this job will be a 'big thinker', not someone who simply takes a written specification and writes code. We need someone who has a passion for design and can work backward from the imagined finished result to a viable object model and code implementation plan. Furthermore, since this role is not within a traditional programming team in IBM, we will also expect the candidate to occasionally help the department out with data analysis, Microsoft Excel and pulling data together for executive reviews. That part of the job is expected to be less than 20% of the time -- the majority of the time will be spent on software development.
