Front End Web Developer

Job description

The Software Developer will be an integral part of IBM's Security Intelligence QRadar software development team that is responsible for delivering new and enhanced feature functionality for the SI product line. To achieve this we're seeking a talented Front End Web Developer who will create interface design concepts, build prototypes and deliver final products. The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and has great presentation skills along with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highly-polished web-based solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities :
·  Design, prototype & build interactive, powerful, easy to user interfaces using a combination of JavaScript, Ajax, and other web technologies
·  Quickly turning product requirements into concrete design specifications (i.e., interaction diagrams, wireframes, and style guidelines).
·  Creation of functional specifications from product level requirements
·  Turning functional specifications into design and implementation of User Interface software
·  Collaborate on interface design standards to optimize ease-of-use
·  Be the advocate of users and user experience.
·  Work as part of an agile development team
·  Performing unit and integration tests on new software
·  Collaboration with the Customer Support team to assist in troubleshooting field issues
·  Collaboration with the Quality Assurance team to ensure a quality product delivery
·  Ensure delivered code follows secure coding practices and guidelines
·  Ability to adapt to new and existing technologies quickly
