Financial Systems Analytics Developer- (Cognos)

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for our growing Financial Systems area
Looking for a technical professional with experience in the field of Management Info Systems, specifically with proven analytical and development skills, experience working with multi-dimensional OLAP (online analytical processing) systems (Cognos TM1) in support of Finance, Accounting and Business Operations customers.

Job Duties:
·  Throughout the day, you will collaborate with your teammates and interact with our product owners – based out of our Southbury, CT office.
·  Analyze accounting customer or process owners needs
·  Performing and managing Cognos / OLAP systems
·  Maintaining security filters and groups, end users access management and data security
·  Develop and maintain chores and processes in TM1 or equivalent OLAP tools.
·  Perform root cause analysis of technical and process issues.
·  Perform optimization of queries, security/access control, high availability, online diagnostics and production support.
·  Support historical Hyperion Enterprise system
·  Successful candidates will have the following work habits

·  Work effectively in an open environment where creativity is welcome and encouraged

Must have the ability to work in the US without current/future need for IBM sponsorship

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  2 years experience in IBM Cognos Systems Administration – TM1, CA
·  Proficiency in Cognos architecture, security and administration
·  Demonstrated experience in OLAP applications and relational databases
·  Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.
