DBA Big Data - Trusteer

Job description

Trusteer, IBM Security labs in Tel-Aviv is hiring a professional-level DBA to join our DBA Big Data group. We are looking for the great mind , which will help us to develop and deal with Big Data problems in the security world. Working as part of the team, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, and administration of production and research systems. Duties include maintenance and operation of multiple high-availability production environments; mutual work with development on new features and products, including schema and process design; incident and problem management and performance tuning/optimization.

·  Responsibilities
·  Work with Data Lake in Cloud
·  Examine ,Design, Tune NoSQL solutions such as Cassandra, Couchbase and ElasticSearch
·  Develop automation for the Database management – mainly in Python
·  Operate, maintain, and administer MySQL database systems over AWS
·  Provide application support and troubleshooting

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  3 years' experience as a production DBA in a high-uptime environment
·  3 years' experience in relational database MySQL or ORACLE
·  Experience with at least one Big Data environment
·  Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
·  Experience in Linux
·  Experience in Programming (advantage Python)
·  Technologies:
·  MySQL over RDS and on EC2
·  NOSQL such as Cassandra , Couchbase , ElasticSearch
·  AWS Services such as Redshift, Athena and Lambda Arch.
