Your Role and Responsibilities
The Db2 Managed Services on Cloud is seeking a Release Engineering Manager to join the team in our Markham software lab. You'll be part of a team of DevOps working on leading edge technology that is solving some of the world's most complex problems and supporting the whole Db2 Development organization and SaaS portfolio.

As release engineering manager, you will be working in collaboration with agile teams to track and combine all the work into a release. Managing risks and work with the team to resolve issues that affect the software release. Track team progress to ensure on time release of the product. You will be planning, managing and delivering projects through all phases, that is aligned with business strategies and track all the required tools.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  1+ year of professional experience in release or project management
·  Cloud technologies and Kubernetes knowledge
·  Knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle
·  Experience with web development technologies
·  Self-reliant and being able to work collaborative

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

·  PMP Designation is a plus
