Required Technical and Professional Expertise

8+ years of experience with Oracle.
Must be willing to develop an understanding of how the applications written by the development team use the database and assist with future designs as the applications are maintained and enhanced.
Candidate should be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Intermediate English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

8+ years of experience with with other relational databases is a plus – DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, My SQL, etc.
The development team uses Hibernate (Java ORM tool) and Liquibase (change management) for the code's interface to the DB – knowledge of Hibernate and Liquibase would be ideal.
