Cloud Database Operations Engineer
Our customer base is growing quickly, and we want your combination of sharp technical, leadership, and warm people skills to help our customers solve problems and get the most out of their databases at Compose. Currently, we operate a fleet of various open source databases (PostgresSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, ETCD, MongoDB) running on a common containerization platform, and currently are in the process of re-platforming the offering to more directly compete with AWS's RDS offering.
Specifically, we are looking for someone that has extensive experience with containers and orchestrations, database operations, and general DevOps/SRE experience to join our Database team. You will be most effective if you have an inquisitive nature, are technically inclined and love to learn. We are not just looking to fight fires, we are looking to prevent them.
