An Associate Partner positions must have sales targets and service delivery expectations.
An Associate Partner in this role is expected to have proven experience and knowledge needed to develop new business opportunities, leading to client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery.
They must understand large and complex services engagements in their area of expertise, with a demonstrated expert knowledge of the appropriate methods and skills needed to solve business problems in the client's industry.
They are expected to contribute to the growth of intellectual capital within their practice area and to support the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities.
They are expected to establish trusted long-term relationships with clients through their ability to articulate solutions.
They must develop strong and trusted relationships with other areas of IBM used in the delivery of complex services.
This position requires the skills needed to win client trust and confidence leading to the acceptance of new proposals in a manner that supports and reinforces business objectives within their area of practice.
They are expected to identify new business opportunities, creatively participate in the development of solutions, and to provide strong assistance to IBM in the winning of that business.
Must be familiar with the contractual requirements for their area of practice and be capable of drafting and reviewing responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM statements of work.

Accountable for business unit, major country, or international projects or programs. Responsible for committing multiple resources and achieving customer satisfaction, cost, expense, revenue and other business measurements of critical importance. Responsible for quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future business development.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Solid track record in management consulting, telecommunications consulting or top management technology;
Consulting in a top tier professional services firms or similar experience;
Experienced navigating across multiple management layers in large programs or projects related to core domains;
Experience with comprehensive telecommunications oriented business transformation projects.
