Aspera, an IBM company is the creator of next-generation transport technologies that move the world's data at maximum speed regardless of file size, transfer distance and network conditions.

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position can be located in our Los Angeles, CA. office. This role will be responsible for a variety of functions to include: lead generation and qualification for two lines of business via telephone; email, online or in person for the mid-market account segment; interface/manage the customers throughout the sales cycle; and develop and manage customer/vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

●Ensure customer satisfaction for revenue generation via frequent communications within a large and diverse set of prospects and customers within the mid-market territory;
●Create daily/weekly plans in coordination with Manager and Sales Representatives;
●Call into target accounts and identify opportunities;
●Initiate discussions with customers to introduce our software solutions and educate the value-add of these solutions;
●Validates qualifies and prioritizes sales opportunities;
●Maintain customer database to support sales opportunities pipeline;
●Ensure the customer understands the solution and its benefits, pricing, delivery, warranty and contract information and other relevant terms/conditions;
●Work effectively in a team environment to support achievement of sales goals and deliver on customer service levels;
●Utilize professional communications, research and interviewing skills, as well as marketing and sales skills;
●Follow-up on quotes and contract submissions within IBM and with the customer to accelerate and close the sale;
●Engage, build relationships and work effectively with business partners and influencers to ensure their participation in successful, cost effective achievement of sales objectives;
●Remain current on IBM products, services, solutions, selling techniques, productivity tools, competitive offerings, approaches; customer territory organizations and decision makers;

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

●Minimum of 2 years' experience in software sales or direct sales;
●Proficient with MS Office Suite; Salesforce.com; internet research;
●Strong communication skills (both verbal & written);
