The Application Developer, API analyzes and translates IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution. S/he has expertise in legacy asset analysis, code restructuring and refactoring, code conversion and business logic extraction into executable business rules. They have expertise in one or more legacy platforms and integration and service exposure mechanisms to interface components for reuse by Systems of Engagement. They are familiar with development and testing of applications in cloud environments. They participate in Delivery/Engagement teams. They also reuse and enhance Digital modernization assets, methods and collateral.

You will:
·  Build API definitions using Swagger and RAML;
·  Implement API cross cutting capabilities - Logging, Audit, Monitoring, Metering, Throttling;
·  Understand the user of Inner APIs and Outer APIs and how they apply / are used;
·  Support API Security implementation using OAuth2 and knolwedge of all grant types and flows; including tokens - JWT, SAML, KERBEROS;
·  Have the ability to work with architects to decompose monolithic architectures into single-function microservices;
·  Use Agile development techniques - scrum, SAFE, daily stand-ups, sprints, backlog management;
·  Understand and use git for source control management and the requisite branching strategies; You have:
·  3+ years working in a true Agile & DevOps environment
·  Experience in writing Junit test cases
·  Experience developing custom microservices applications using SpringBoot, Docker, and Kubernetes
·  Ability to migrate applications from AngularJS to Angular 5/6
·  Cloud-native development experience on IBM Cloud, Amazon, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
·  Knowledge of application containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes How we'll help you grow :

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Front End
·  6+ years' hands-on experience as UI developer
·  2+ years' Angular versions 6/5/4/2
·  Experience with Redux patterns
·  Experience with typescript, ECMAScript 6, Object Oriented Programming in Java Script
·  Experience with Bootstrap, Responsive design, HTML5/CSS3, SCSS/LESS
·  Experience with automation tasks using Grunt or Gulp

·  6+ years' hands-on experience developing Java / J2EE / Spring applications
