Job description

The Lead Recruiter is responsible for working with Hiring Managers and providing client satisfaction with IBM's RPO services. The Lead Recruiter will work closely with the client, IBM's operation management, and staff. The person in this role will define, develop, plan and implement recruiting strategies and provide a qualified candidate pool. This role requires project management and recruiting experience to meet client satisfaction goals.
This role is responsible for all recruiting and staffing programs and activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and on-boarding of talent into IBM clients as well as partnering with client's managers to help build a workforce with those critical skills needed to move the business forward. This role can also be responsible for ensuring talent processes comply with appropriate business controls or initiating/maintaining immigration statuses. Individuals in this role may also be a team lead, providing work direction, guiding employees on various processes and acting as a point of escalation for team members. The employee focuses on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness. Skills: Environment: Professional knowledge related to incumbent's position, team, and department. Requires ability to absorb professional knowledge quickly and develop skills. Communication/Negotiation: Draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties. Negotiation is required. Problem Solving: Recognize job-related problems. analyze causes using existing techniques or tools, prepare and recommend solution alternatives. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with the intent to enhance and improve. Contribution/Leadership: Works on professional projects;work is often reviewed for developmental purposes. Understand the standard mission of the professional group and vision in own area of competence. May directly influence people in own project. Position may require coordination of activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team members. Impact on Business/Scope: Accountable for individual or team results. May contribute by supporting activities that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or impact immediate costs or expenses.
