(2019 Summer Intern) Application Developer

Job description

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is a world leading strategy consultancy with deep industry expertise. We are looking for Application Developer intern!

The developers in this role use their background in IT (administration, consulting or development) to work on a specific client project or solution. They will ensure that the custom solution is integrated into the overall program, and provide fixes to defects identified by the quality assurance team during the software development life cycle.

Role & Responsibility
·  Responsible for creating and maintaining systems that leverage big data and traditional BI technologies.
·  Familiar with tools to effectively integrate big data technology into the clients' business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.
·  Develop test scenarios, perform component testing and participate in the review of regression, systems, and stress testing and code promotion.
·  Provide support for system integration test, user acceptance test and production support.
·  Effectively document and communicate results.
·  Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned.
