The Digital Experience team works on products that power websites for some of the biggest enterprises across the world. Our developers build cognitive features that make it easier and intuitive for website authors to create the best experiences. We work with teams across the world and cover all aspects of the software development lifecycle from development, test, support, documentation and devops.

Duration: 12 months, commencing in January or February 2017

Interns to the IBM Web Content Manager team participate in all activities involved in shipping an enterprise level, world class software product:
·  Identifying and understanding new features
·  Developing code for new features and to fix product defects
·  Designing and implementing automated tests
·  Performing exploratory testing of features
·  Development of DevOps tools
Technical Skills Required:
·  Object oriented design
·  Java programming (or another OO language)
·  Scala, NodeJS and Angular programming
·  Familiarity with Linux and open source technologies is preferred
Non-Technical Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
Delivering software is about more than just programming, successful candidates require:

·  Clear written and verbal communication

·  Ability to analyze and understand user requirements

·  Ability to work in a team

·  Ability to receive and give feedback to peers
Technical Skills Required:
·  Computer Science, Software Engineering
Intern applicants must meet the following requirements:

-Have Australian/New Zealand citizenship or Australian/New Zealand Permanent Residency-Have at least a credit average from respective universities
-You will be enrolled in a tertiary degree at University in Australia/ New Zealand – Throughout the internship program
-Candidates must be from Australian or New Zealand Universities
-Have no more than 2 years relevant work experience
