· You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
· The Manager - Stewarding is responsible to manage the Stewarding Department as an efficient, and productive department, by maintaining an organised and clean back-of-house area in Food and Beverage and by providing all kitchens, outlets and banquets with clean operating equipment, based on expected business levels.
· Be hands-on and present at all times in the Operation, especially during busy periods
· Establish and strictly control inventories and par stocks in the operation for all operating equipment, Food and Beverage, Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) items and to ensure that the outlet is adequately equipped
· Oversee monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies
· Control the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· The ideal candidate should be a motivated team player to lead and motivate our enthusiastic and service friendly employees.
· He/She should possess good communication skills, excellent food and beverage knowledge and be details orientated.
· He/She should hold relevant tertiary qualifications and preferably have a minimum of 3 years' experience as Assistant Manager in 5-stars hotel.
