Job description

Job Purpose :

The lifeguards are responsible for the safety of swimmers and other patrons at a pool. This includes monitoring the swimming area for hazards, enforcing safety rules, rescuing swimmers in distress, and providing first aid and CPR if necessary.

The lifeguards must be able to communicate with both swimmers and other staff members effectively. It involves giving instructions, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.

Qualifications :

Duty & Responsibilities :

· 
Enforcing pool rules and regulations, in order to prevent accidents and injuries. The lifeguard must also be able to identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate them.

· 
Providing emergency care, in the event of an accident or injury, the lifeguards must be able to provide emergency care. This includes first aid and CPR.

· 
Monitoring patrons, the lifeguards must constantly monitor the patrons of their facility in order to identify potential hazards and prevent accidents and injuries.

· 
Responding to emergencies, in the event of emergency, the lifeguard must be able to respond quickly and effectively. They must have a thorough understanding of their facility's emergency procedures and be able to execute them flawlessly.

· 
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving health, safety, and environment in the pool area.

· 
Reviewing accidents and suggesting preventing similar future pool incidents.

· 
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and eliminate potential hazards in the pool area.

· 
Conduct training and education about safe systems of the pool to educate employees on the present and how to work safely to avoid being harmed or harming others.

· 
Manage pool safety-related documentation, including incident reports, inspection reports, and training records.
