We have a new opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join our team.
Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District, Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveller. As Australia's largest premium hotel, Hyatt Regency Sydney boasts 878 guestrooms, 5 Food & Beverage outlets. The hotel offers more than 4,000 sq m of sleek, award winning meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.
As our Learning & Development Manager, you will work closely with Department Leaders to ensure our service standards are not only met, but exceeded by our team of over 400 colleagues.
Your scope will cover Hyatt lead initiatives, as well as local hotel programs to ensure our colleagues are ready and excited to grow within Hyatt.
To be successful in this role, you will use your previous Hotel operational knowledge to develop department trainers to build a strong training culture, be confident analysing data identifying trends, and design specific courses/sessions to rectify and prevent occurrences. You will also prepare the annual training plan which incorporates all compliance training.
Your communication skills are professional and adaptable and you are able to foster connections quickly. You will have exceptional time management skills and be able to work within set budgets. Ideally you would have worked in a premium hotel recently.
Remote working is possible in this role with a hybrid approach working a 5 day week.
This role will commence in May 2026 and is full time. Full working rights for Australia are required. Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
