Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated intern for our HR department from November 1, 2018 until April 30, 2019. The internship position based at Hyatt's Regional Office in Zurich will offer you a great opportunity to learn all aspects of Human Resources. You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of administrative support to the Human Resources Department. The implementation of office policies, standards, and procedures as they apply to the administrative functions will be part of your tasks.

In specific you will:
· Prepare the relevant materials for all meetings attended by the Human Resources department

· Attend and prepare minutes for meetings as and when required

· Plan and organize travel arrangement for the Human Resources team

· Monitor and maintain the proper appearance of the Division's office area

· Ensure that the strictest confidentiality is maintained in dealing with all work related matter

· General administrative support to the Regional Human Resources team ensuring the implementation of office policies, standards, and procedures as they apply to the administrative functions

· Review and updating of the Employee Handbook
· Support and organization of internal and external meetings (Quarterly Meetings, Christmas Staff Party, Area Vice President Meeting, etc)
· Update, review and oversee intranet content
· Drafting and publishing of personnel announcement
· Candidate screening and correspondence

Desired profile

Qualifications :

The duration of the internship will be for at least 6 months. Employment and compensation conditions according the Swiss hotel industry labor agreement.
Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
