Key Responsibilities of an HR Officer in Hotels
· Recruitment & Onboarding
· Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks.
· Facilitate onboarding by introducing new hires to hotel policies, culture, and service standards.
· Training & Development
· Organize training sessions on customer service, safety, and hospitality standards.
· Identify skill gaps and implement development programs to enhance staff performance.
· Employee Relations
· Act as a mediator between staff and management to resolve conflicts.
· Promote employee engagement and satisfaction through recognition programs and feedback systems.
· Compliance & Policy Management
· Ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
· Maintain accurate employee records and handle disciplinary procedures when necessary.
· Performance Management
· Support managers in conducting appraisals and setting performance goals.
· Monitor productivity and recommend improvements to align with hotel objectives.
