About the Role

As a Housekeeping Valet, you will play a key role in supporting Room Attendants and ensuring that guest rooms are prepared to the highest standards. You will manage linen logistics, deliver special guest requests, and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping department. Your work will directly enhance guest satisfaction and help us create memorable and “WOW” moments throughout their stay.

Main Responsibilities

Guest Service & Quality Excellence

· Handle soiled linen and transport it to the laundry following hotel protocols.
· Distribute clean linen and supplies to floors according to standards.
· Prepare housekeeping trolleys with linen, amenities, and cleaning products based on daily occupancy.
· Deliver and manage special guest requests, such as cribs, extra beds, or additional room items.
· Support deep cleaning tasks in rooms and public areas (wood, ceilings, marble, windows, etc.).
· Follow established checklists and operational procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
· Uphold Hyatt service philosophy and brand image throughout all interactions.
· Resolve or escalate guest requests promptly and follow up when needed.
· Contribute to departmental satisfaction goals (IS & IR) and suggest improvements proactively.

Efficiency & Operational Excellence

· Use cleaning products responsibly and according to recommended doses.
· Handle tools, linen, and materials carefully to ensure proper maintenance.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage rooms, pantries, and shared areas.
· Monitor linen stock levels, report discrepancies, and check laundry deliveries.
· Report maintenance issues or damaged items to supervisors.
· Identify opportunities to optimize processes and share suggestions with the team.

Teamwork & Hyatt Culture

· Foster a positive, respectful, and cooperative working atmosphere.
· Work closely with Housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
· Participate in team meetings with a constructive and solutions‑oriented mindset.
· Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, encouraging others to do the same.
· Contribute ideas for continuous department and hotel-wide improvement.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Requirements

·  Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory.
·  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
·  Service-oriented attitude with a positive and proactive approach.
·  Physical capacity to handle an active, hands-on role.
·  Basic communication skills in Spanish or English; additional languages are an advantage.
·  Commitment to teamwork, integrity, and delivering exceptional service.
