Qualifications

The Role

Thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. Knowledge of general maintenance

processes and methods, working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices. Good physical

condition and strength. To repair and maintain all electrical components of the building infra structure.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety

guidelines.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Able to read and interpret drawings, schematics and control diagrams. Trouble shoots electrical faults.

Carries out PPM assignments. Understands all aspects of electrical safety such as conductor sizing,

insulation, overloads etc. Keeps distribution panels clean and locked. Identifies and maintains circuit

breakers.

To report for duty punctually, well-groomed and hygienic at all times. To provide a courteous and

professional service at all times. To maintain good working relationships with own colleagues, and all

other departments. To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's policy relating to

Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. To have a complete understanding of the Hotel's rules and regulations

and adhere to them.

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned and should be multitasking.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management desirable
·  Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience as Technician in a hotel
·  4 years in a similar large building/complex with central plant.
·  Good communication skills in the English language
·  Admin skills is a plus
