Duty Engineer

Job description
1.Assist to ensure the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.
2.Assists with the development, maintenance and update of a detailed Department Operations Manual that reflects Policies & Procedures, work processes and standards of performance within the Division. Ensures annual review to accurately reflect any changes.
3.Assists with the preparation and regularly update of the Engineering Departmental Budget in close cooperation with the Assistant Director of Engineering, ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
4.Responds to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and to changes as dictated by the hotel, industry and company.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
1.A secondary vocational school diploma or college degree and above is typically required. A major in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or a related engineering field is preferred.
2.Minimum of 2-5 years of engineering operation and maintenance experience in a five-star hotel or related industry. Experience with international chain hotels will be highly preferred.
3.Possess extensive professional knowledge in areas such as high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, air conditioning (HVAC), boilers, water supply and drainage, and fire protection systems.
4.Good Chinese communication skills are essential. Basic English communication skills are generally necessary due to the international working environment.
