About the Role


As the Bartender, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in accordance with the established brand standards of Hyatt International's Corporate Strategy.

Working amongst a team of 20, you will support the Restaurant Manager in supervising and managing the day to day operations of the Bar lounge as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.

This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Some of the responsibilities include:
·  Providing a professional and friendly bar service to all guests and customers
·  Maintaining exceptional drink service standards
·  Training and guiding staff around our beverage knowledge
·  Selling and upselling of wines, spirits and cocktails
·  Anticipating guest needs
·  Meeting and greeting guests into the Restaurant and Bar lounge
·  Making and serving all drinks for the Restaurant
·  Assisting the Food and Beverage team with running food service occasionally
·  Maintaining a clean and organized bar
Qualifications
·  Previous bar experience in a similar position or a fast-paced environment
·  A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
·  Sound wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge – barista skills are advantageous
·  Exceptional interpersonal skills and positive team player
·  A local certificate in food handling and hygiene would be advantageous
·  The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
·  The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
·  The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
