Newly opened, Andaz Lisbon is an exciting luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and represents a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is the second Hyatt‑branded hotel in Lisbon.

Located in the heart of Lisbon's vibrant Baixa district, along the city's main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal's major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).

The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. As a unique Urban Resort in the city center, Andaz Lisbon invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the true essence of Lisbon.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Bartender to join the team at Andaz Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and serve beverages with exceptional quality and presentation, following both standard and customized recipes.
· Create and recommend signature cocktails that reflect the lifestyle concept and identity of the hotel.
· Provide warm, attentive, and proactive service to guests, understanding their preferences and recommending suitable options.
· Keep the bar clean, organized, and well stocked, managing inventory of beverages, ingredients, and equipment.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food and beverage handling standards.
· Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate billing of orders.
· Collaborate with the bar team and other departments to guarantee guest satisfaction and smooth service operations.
· Participate in training sessions, workshops, and updates to enhance knowledge of beverages, techniques, and industry trends.
· Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
· Promote a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere, contributing to the hotel's lifestyle experience.

Qualifications :

Profile

·  Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in luxury hotels or upscale bars.
·  Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
·  Excellent communication skills and a talent for personalized guest service.
·  Well-groomed appearance and professional attitude.
·  Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
·  Intermediate level of English and fluent Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
·  Creativity and passion for mixology; friendliness and empathy in guest interactions; agility and organization; team spirit; attention to detail; proactivity and initiative.
