At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for motivated, service‑driven, and detail‑oriented students to join our Banqueting Internship Program . If you are passionate about events, hospitality, and operational excellence, this internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how large‑scale functions, conferences, weddings, and corporate events come to life in a luxury hotel.

The Banqueting Trainee plays an important role in supporting the smooth execution of meetings and events, ensuring impeccable setups, seamless operations, and outstanding guest experiences.

What You'll Do

·  Support the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
·  Assist in ensuring that layouts, equipment, and materials are prepared to luxury standards
·  Collaborate with the Events and F&B teams to coordinate timelines and requirements
·  Welcome and assist event clients and guests, providing attentive and professional service
·  Support the Banqueting Supervisors during live events, ensuring smooth flow and timely service
·  Assist with inventory control of banqueting equipment, décor, and materials
·  Help ensure that spaces remain clean, organized, and guest‑ready throughout events
·  Learn how to interpret event documentation and follow operational procedures

Who You Are

·  Hospitality, Tourism, Events Management, Business student, or any other with eagerness to learn
(able to sign an internship agreement)
·  Fluent in Spanish; English is a plus
·  Organized, proactive, service‑oriented, and attentive to detail
·  Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and adapting quickly
·  Available for a minimum of 5 months
·  Eligible for internships in Spain/EU
