The Merchandise Allocator is primarily responsible for properly determining the distribution of Menswear and/or Womenswear merchandise for Directly Owned Factory Outlet Stores using sales history & trend while anticipating customer buying patterns. This includes managing the flow of receipts and maintaining appropriate inventory levels at the department and subclass level. Partner with Merchandise Buying & Planning Team in identifying solutions to problems that will reduce liability and maximize business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

·  Allocate fashion merchandise at style level based on management intent and allocation objectives.
·  Develop and Manage allocation strategies for various product category by store location.
·  Create and maintain weekly allocation reporting and track all open orders during the shipping season.
·  Monitor sales and update management on replenishment strategy for all key item | classification programs
·  Monitor exceptions on merchandise stock levels and recommends necessary adjustments.
·  Understand the relationship of assortment planning & merchandise allocation to financial plans and profitability.
·  Recommends product category markdowns, store transfers, and consolidations.
·  Conducts style, size, store, and color selling analysis.

System Technology

·  Utilize standard reporting through SAP Retail & BIS Merchandise Reporting Tools
·  Utilize SAP Initial Allocation | Replenishment Tools

Desired profile

Required qualifications:

·  Bachelors Degree in Business | Merchandising or related retail experience.
·  Proficient in Excel & PC operation
·  Oral and written communication
·  Flexible | Multi-tasking
·  Detail oriented
·  Self-motivated
