2016 YOUNG ASPIRING LEADERS PROGRAMME

Some careers grow faster than others.

The Young Aspiring Leaders Programme is a 24-month graduate programme designed to provide young graduates a holistic development in banking and in particular the skills in one of the most sought after area - Financial Crime Compliance.

What to expect

The Young Aspiring Leaders will be provided with the right exposure in a leading international bank, learn the importance of effective management of risk/compliance and grow a career in learning how to adopt and maintain industry-leading standards across the businesses and functions.

In the first year, Young Aspiring Leaders will be provided classroom and on-the-job training focusing in varied field and dynamic scope of Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Financial Intelligence Unit and Sanctions. In the second year, the job rotation will provide Young Aspiring Leaders with opportunities to be exposed to a wide range of job scope ranging from front-line roles of Business Development, Advisory, and Client Services to back office roles of Business Management, Analytics, Internal Audit and Business Risk & Control.

Learning, Development & Support

Over the course of the 24 month programme, you will:

· Receive structured classroom training focusing in financial industry and management skills that will equip you with the right skills to succeed

· Develop your knowledge in Financial Crime Compliance

· Have hands-on experience by job rotation within the Business/ Function

· Have the opportunity to train and work with industry experts, gaining insights into HSBC's distinct strengths in the financial services industry

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (OR Second Class Upper or equivalent)
·  Fresh graduates / graduates with 1-2 years work experience
·  Active involvement in extra-curricular activities
·  Experience in leadership roles and involvement in community services will be an added advantage
·  Fluent in English, excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
·  Ambitious, driven and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
·  Malaysian or individual with legal right to work in Malaysia
