We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Customer Proposition and Ecosystem Partnership.
Principal Responsibilities
· Be a key part within a proposition partnership team focusing ecosystems/industry verticals development with applying proposition through external partnership identification, and commercialization for Business Banking segment
· Identify business acquisition opportunities via proposition development and partnerships, with a focus of business development in China market. Business trip to China might be required
· Conduct iterative research on market trends, innovative products, competition landscape and customer needs for business insights and potential innovation of new propositions
· Connect initiatives for ecosystems partnership across Product teams, Project teams, Marketing, Communications, internal risk stewards and frontline to ensure an integrated commercialization approach on execution
· Leverage the Bank’s API technology development and external partnerships to create integrated and streamlined user experience with third party platforms
· Work closely with stakeholders across multiple disciplines (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, Technology, Marketing, Communication, etc.) according to the partnership governance framework
· Support the reviewing, streamlining, and support of the partnership governance model and the end-to-end partnership management cycle that covers on-boarding, terms negotiation, performance review and commercialization
· Support internal stakeholders and identify external business partners to resolve their business pain points, thus create business values
· Support driving of proposition development and its go-to-market strategy, leveraging on internal & external partnership
Requirements
· Experience in client management or partnership management & commercialization. China experience is a plus
· Knowledge or experience in customer acquisition, product commercialization and proposition development
· Demonstrated data management experience, for scorecard/dashboard management or quality assurance of data
· Good grasp of emerging or innovative propositional trends for example open API, digital payment, digital marketing, new retail etc. and their implication to commercial market, especially in B2B scenario
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, and shown ability in managing priorities from multiple internal and external stakeholders
· Self-motivated to keep abreast of evolving technology trend and look for opportunity of adoption
· Stakeholders management skills and ability to navigate across complex organization
· Creative thinking to generate ideas balancing business impact, cost and time to market
· Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, Cantonese. As the role may require cross-border collaboration with China team, fluency in Mandarin is required
