PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Support the Global IAM – Monitoring & Controls , Work with the stakeholders to provide IAM internal assessment services to monitor compliance with Policy/Standards/Regulatory controls, and best practices in an independent, unbiased and uniform manner. Monitor the quality and work flow of a team that provides IT Security related services to users and business partners via Voice or Email channels, while delivering similar services. Role holder is self-motivated person working under minimum supervision and ensures to keep up with technology at pace and policies driving compliance in accordance with FIMs

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview of the job

· Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Platforms and database monitoring through understanding of security controls on platforms and databases.

· Responsible for MnC KCI generation should be able to interpret MI and preferred to have hands on experience with producing MI reported in ITCEMM /Audit/Regulators.

· Understands Risks and Metrics and has hands on experience managing multiple internal/external audits including direct interaction with audit teams.

· Exhibit ownership to drive and remediate open audit/risk and issue owned by Monitoring and Controls team.

· Take the onus of the projects initiated for change the bank (CTB), Run the bank (RTB) and or changes driven by technology and businesses, be resourceful, innovative and show initiative in championing changes.

· Be a team player and assist the Management in holding Daily/Weekly/Monthly meets etc.

· Acquire a thorough understanding of the Logging and Monitoring processes and global procedures, keep abreast with changes made and efficiently communicate them to the team. Review current practices, initiate process improvements to better response times and improve performance by working with stakeholders (business/ITID/Cybersecurity/ISR etc).

· Fully understands IAM function and sub functions with ITID Identify and Access Management.

· Technical SME within logging and monitoring team with varied knowledge on database and Platforms.

· Ensure compliance with targets on all KPI/KCI and other general audit requirements.

· Be acceptable and flexible to all changes and manage the changes well.

· Create a supportive work environment with an approachable attitude and help analysts perform better.

Activity

Operational & Functional Reporting – report daily activity, send weekly/monthly performance report of Monitoring & Controls– chart out the progress/trends; take inputs from quality survey and action as necessary

Team work – Interact well with peers, superiors, people from other support areas and business partners; work towards improving team bonding; actively participate in daily devotionals, weekly/monthly meetings, other team get-togethers and conduct them in the absence of line manager; support team projects; serve as a resource person to the team/ line manager; contribute towards new joiners' learning curve;

Supervision & Service Delivery – actively monitor queues, equally distribute work and ensure that PLAs are met on a daily basis; regularly perform quality checks on volumes agreed with the business partners and efficiently deliver feedback; handle escalations, communicate procedural changes to the team, train new hires; work on requests/handle calls for 2 hours per day; work on feedback and show improvement; contribute to Service Delivery by improving team performance in terms of quality; take up additional tasks/delegations from the line manager.

Learning & Development – Complete all the mandatory courses on eCampus as assigned by the line manager; take up additional courses in line with the process/role requirement;

Audit Adherence – Should adhere to the compliance/ audit requirements set and communicated by the GSC management; keep the confidentiality of sensitive information of users; ensure breach of confidentiality is immediately bought to the attention of the line manager;

The job holder should not provide unauthorized access to share or folder; also have to ensure appropriate Monitoring & Controls is in place at all Platforms, Applications & database levels.

OTHER INFORMATION

The job holder will report directly to the Assistant Manager, Should be able to actively shoulder projects initiated for IAM Monitoring & Controls – IT Security to drive quality initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS TO UNDERTAKE THE ROL E AT A Fully ACCEPTABLE LEVEL

· Minimum of one year's Information Technology/ IAM experience or equivalent.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, related technical field or equivalent experience.

· Knowledge of Platforms, databases and understanding of Privileged activity monitoring

· Good planning, organizing and prioritizing skills

· Working experience on creating dashboards, MIs

· Knowledge in Security domains

· Good understanding of networks and security concepts

· Ability to understand and interpret numeric data

· Ability to identify development, training and motivational needs of analysts from a process perspective.

· Ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines

· Ability to learn quickly, deliver and transfer knowledge effectively

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Good planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.

· Ability to build and maintain cordial relationship with users, peers and people at all levels using diplomacy, judgment and interperso
