We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert, Underwriting and Claims .

Principal responsibilities

·
Attend to enquiries from distributors and other working partners

·
Managing pipeline cases, including medical reports and bills

·
Prepare letters to request for medical reports and follow up on the status

·
Prepare and requisite cheque payments for APS invoices

·
Attend to enquiries on medical invoices, up to settlement of invoices

·
Perform screening of applications and report for any screening hits

·
Liaise with distributors and active follow up on applications and requirements

·
Support strategic projects, product launches and regulatory requirements to improve productivity and overall customer experience

·
Define scope and lead user requirement gathering and document robust business requirements for system development

·
Project management tasks, test case creation, testing, raising CR and problem solving

·
Plan and conduct system testing, results verification prior and after releasing system to the business users for product releases

·
Prepare training documentation and update Standard Operating Procedures for new products and systems and conduct training for related stakeholders

·
Updating of revised Underwriting guidelines and communication to various distribution channels.

·
Prepare dashboards for reporting on TAT, productivity and resource management

·
Support Post Implementation and Production Issues, investigate and liaise with IT and transformation teams for fixes

·
Any other adhoc duties assigned by manager

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Requirements

· 
University Degree in Business, IT, or Finance

· 
Few years of project management or related experience

· 
Ability to map end to end processes

· 
Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· 
Knowledge of Product development, Underwriting and Claims functions

· 
Previous experience in Underwriting will be advantageous
