Location: Montreal, Canada

About the role

As Solution Architect, you will be part of and play a key role in the Offer Development team of the business. You will be responsible for all aspects of technology including the high-level architectural designing, construction, reconstruction and refactoring, technology standardization and modernization. You will report to the Vice President of Offer Development – Smart Space. You will also work with CTO of the business to define & deploy the technology & architectural vision in the team.

Your Responsibilities

Working closely with your team, other Software Architects, Hardware Designers, Software Designer, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Offer Manager, you will:

· Lead, document, communicate and implement a flexible architecture platform that allows for the consistent development of software & products;
· Understand the business value, and be able to combine technology, and business factors when making design decisions with team;
· Support the initial requirements envisioning effort. Specifically, identity technical/non-functional requirements;
· Lead a community of practice promoting technical excellence.
· Collaborate with Software Architects, Hardware Designers, Software Designers, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Offer Manager and other teams on product release planning;
· Help teams to communicate technical requirements in terms that could be understood by the all stake holders;
· Identify design or architecture strength and weakness;
· Monitor and prototype emerging technologies that could be used to improve quality, performance, ability to deliver product faster;

Your profile

· Graduate diploma in computer sciences, software engineering or equivalent;

· A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role ;

· Team Player; Curious and passionate about product development;

· Passionate about continuous customer experience improvement;

· Excellent communicator;

· Good at motivating people;

· Good negotiator;

· Strong “can do” attitude;
