GCB6:
2 - 5 years of total experience of which around 2 years should be in production support working in shifts, for Web Based applications support in a multi-tier architecture.
Keywords : Linux / WAS / Java / LDAP / Oracle / MQ / Production Support / Scripting / Automation
Technical :
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Linux / Java / Python / LDAP / Oracle / MQ / Production support knowledge along with Automation knowledge is required
Skills in trouble shooting Java Applications deployed on any of the industry standard Front end Application Servers such as IBM WAS, IBM WPS, JBoss, Tomcat.
Hands on experience on UNIX Shell scripting and automation.
Candidate with background of Java / J2EE, Spring, DOJO, HTML, Javascript will be preferred.
Experience in any ticketing Tool e.g. BMC Remedy / GSD / Service Now.
Process :
Good experience in - Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management.
ITIL Foundation Certification
Communication and Leadership :
Represent the Support team in crisis calls, chats and contribute with solutions/ suggestions.
Sound verbal and written communication to interact with global teams.
Good confidence levels.
Good to have :
Exposure of Banking domain
Experience in any Industry standard Application Performance Monitoring Tool such as App Dynamics, Splunk, BMC Patrol, HP BSM etc..
ITIL Intermediate certification
Knowledge on Cloud / Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
