Designation: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Pune

The Test Analyst is responsible for -

• Analysing business requirements and enhancements to the IT systems to ensure that these changes have the effect intended by the Business and development teams.

• Working closely with the project team and BAs in the initial stages of the project and apply analytical skills to understand the business requirements and change requests. Translate those requirements into a clear and unambiguous manner for the test resources assigned to the project(s).

Prepare detailed Test strategy and estimation.

Conduct test design walkthroughs and reviews.

·
Ensure that test environment and test data is available and set-up for test execution.

·
Understand data needs for testing with back office systems, liaising with the PM/support teams and back offices for data, batch requirements.

·
Ensuring the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled during release and iteration planning

·
Responsible for defect management and defect prevention.

·
Responsible for testing status reporting and test metrics reporting.

·
Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.

·
Adherence to standards and testing processes.

·
Test Analyst to undertake quality assurance checks of test scripts executed.

·
Identify potential risks and suggest mitigation plan.

·
Participate in knowledge management activities.

·
Participating proactively in team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements.

·
Coaching other team members in relevant aspects of testing.

·
Identify regression cases for test automation and keep regression suite updated.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

A good level of experience on requirement analysis and knowledge of structured techniques and group standards.

Strong hands on experience on software testing methodologies and techniques .

· 
Extensive knowledge of the Software Testing Lifecycle and methodologies.

· 
Defect Management.

· 
Experience in performing testing using Agile methodology.

· 
Ability to work under pressure for periods of time individually or as part of the team.

· 
Ability to prioritise work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing technical environment

· 
Find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution

· 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· 
Test Automation and tools:

· 
Strong hands on experience on Automation Tools like –TOSCA, UFT and Selenium.

· 
Functional test Automation.

· 
Cross Browser Test automation.

· 
Design Automation framework.

· 
Desirable to have knowledge on TOSCA Integration with Jenkins.

· 
JIRA/Confluence, TOSCA, HP ALM, Zephyr for Jira
