Role Title: Software Engineer

Business: Global Banking Markets IT

Role Purpose / Description

•Prepare Detailed Specification that describe input, output & logical operation according to functional specification & requirement
•Develop / Enhance IT solutions according to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirement while adhering to Group IT standards
•Support system integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables, and support business to complete user functional testing and conduct high volume and/or stress tests
•Identify any issues that may arise and develop measures to control risks
•Provide on going support and maintenance on existing IT solutions

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

 •Proficient in Java(EE) development, deep understanding and experience with RDBMS, Messaging, Reporting, Batch Job and RESTFul API technologies.
 •Experience with AngularJS, ReactJS or relevant front-end framework.
 •Experience with Spring, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Git
 •Strong in code refactoring, architectural design
 •Great passion with new technologies, keen to experiment new tech in his spare time.
 •Excellent communication skills – both conversational and written in English – need to talk to UK business daily.
 •Experience of working in an Agile development team, with Scrum, test driven development, etc.
 •Ability to work flexibly and take responsibility for all areas of work as required
 •Enthusiasm about working in a global team with different cultures
 •Proactive, self-motivated, open-minded and able to work flexibly
 •Both a teamwork approach and self-sufficiency
 •BS degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalence experience
