SCS (Supply Chains Solutions) Operations Associate, Global Trade & Receivables Finance

Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of SCS Operations Associate.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Processing and allocating Buyer Instructions within the Supplier Finance and Approved Invoice Applications
· Liaising with other departments to ensure all queries and actions are completed within agreed service levels
· Maintaining fully reconciled Buyer Schemes.
· Enhancing the Supplier relationship with HSBC and Buyer, maintaining the highest levels of client service
· Assistance with system enhancement projects and country deployment support
· Providing country operational support for overseas Receivables Finance units

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
·  Good working knowledge of Receivables Finance products.
·  Strong understanding of Receivables Finance Operational processes.
·  Good working knowledge of IFAI and attention to detail.
·  Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
·  Self-motivated and well organized.
·  Verbal and written communication is clear, confident and succinct. Ability to tailor style and content to both situation and audience.
·  Able to take on ad-hoc tasks as required
·  Work well in a small and dynamic team

The base location for this role will be Worthing.
