We have an opportunity for an experienced Solutions Manager based in Sydney, to join the GPS team in an exciting new role to drive sales and revenue with high potential, high growth companies that are looking to scale globally. You will identify and sell innovative GPS solutions to this defined portfolio of clients.  In doing so, you will work closesly with other GPS areas and middle markets Relationship Management teams locally, regionally and globally.

Taking on this role, you will be joining a high performing sales team with a rich foundation built on experience, self-motivation and drive, coupled with a desire to learn new skills whilst exploring diverse cultures and traditions.  Developing both personally and professionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your career options by being part of HSBC’s global network.  We provide hybrid working and a variety of Employee Resource Groups, providing support aligned with individual interests and personal situations.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Developing new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GPS solutions to a defined portfolio of clients, maximizing commercial profitability and relationship depth.
·  Working with GPS Product and Sales Proposal team to deliver a go-to-market Tech proposition. This would include bundling existing solutions with a view towards global scaling.
·  Working with the Tech Sector coverage team to identify strategic target Tech companies as potential partners as well as a clients.
·  Contributing to the Tech industry thought leadership – including industry participation, media releases and articles to establish HSBC as Australia’s leading banking partner for New Economy clients.
·  Working towards clear new client and new revenue targets aligned to the Tech Sector annual account plan.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

·  Solid demonstrated experience in a Sales or Relationship Management role in transactional banking, with experience working with Technology related clients an advantage.
·  Strong knowledge of cash management and clearing services, products and techniques.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
·  Proven sales record with the ability to identify and meet customer needs through innovative client solutioning and structuring.
·  A proactive, self-driven nature, combined with a solid team- focused mindset.
·  Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness with the ability to organise data to deliver compelling client presentations.
·  A good understanding of the market, economic trends and regulatory environment.
·  Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
