We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Project Planner.

Role Purpose

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager this is a key position contributing towards the delivery of the change portfolio within the CMB Data & Analytics function. The immediate focus will be upon the Data & Analytics Strategic Business Initiative (SBI) within the Global Commercial Banking (GCMB) Strategic Business Objectives Programme (SBO).

The SBO's main purpose is to transform and digitise the business, delivering material improvements for our customers and colleagues. CMB's strategic business outlook will determine the businesses change priorities for 2019-2022, accelerate our digital and streamlining strategy across our markets.

The Data and Analytics SBI team is part of the overall Commercial Banking (CMB) team under the remit of the CMB COO. The team is responsible for partnering with various stakeholders within the CMB business, Transformation, IT and other lines of business and functions to provide robust, secure, leading edge solutions for data analytics that are scalable, provide competitive advantage to the business in a changing regulatory and competitive landscape across the world.

As a Project Planner your role in this journey is pivotal and you will own, develop and manage the integrated delivery plan across the portfolio of change within CMB Data & Analytics. You will have a key focus on ensuring a consistent approach to both outcome and deliverable based planning, and on enabling a system of efficient and accurate reporting to allow the effective flow of information to a wide matrix of stakeholders. You will work closely with the governance secretariat to ensure the appropriate operation of change control across the portfolio in the context of ensuring sufficient oversight, escalation and risk & control management across the portfolio.

In this role, you will:

· Manage planning & reporting for Commercial Banking Data & Analytics: understand & manage inputs into the processes internal and external to Data & Analytics.
·
Enhance reporting governance and tools: ensure they are fit for purpose, easy to update and provide the necessary depth of information.

Provide leadership on programme outcomes: ensure scope and outcomes are appropriately articulated and effectively managed under change control, and the initiatives development/ progress is well documented to support exec decision making.

Undertake data analysis and consolidated performance reporting to develop key insights.

·
Develop engaging presentations to communicate strategic insights for executives and make recommendations (including risks, opportunities) based on data.

Embed the project processes and standards for managing risks and issues amongst the project / change management community within Data & Analytics.

·
Establish and implement protocols to manage change, ensuring appropriate impact assessment, documentation and transparent oversight of changes to agreed scope / timelines / budgets.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·  Expert knowledge of project and Programme Governance; and Expert knowledge of Change Management and Programme Execution best practice.
·  Proven track record as an outstanding PMO manager in a global organization
·  Experience working on large transformation programmes (£10M+)
·  Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in highly regulated environments
·  Experience in PMO of complex programmes/ organizations
·  Experience with using different reporting tools and setting up related governance/ processes
·  You will hold a project management qualification (PRINCE2 / MSP / PMP) or equivalent
·  Experience working in an agile environment is an advantage but not essential
