Pulse is looking for a Product Researcher to help us launch a new business. We are seeking somebody, passionate about research and experienced at getting to the bottom of tough User challenges, to join us as a crucial part of the product design team.

At Pulse, the role of Product Researcher is to get to know our target market inside out, empathising with their challenges, and helping us co-create the most valuable solutions and experience for Users of our mobile app (and future channels/devices).

The right candidate will be comfortable designing, running and drawing conclusions from user research and creating a culture of co-creation - using a range of face to face and digital research methods at events, or across the UK, finding business owners and learning about them. You'll get to build your own concepts and research approach to make an impact on how Pulse builds the product from day one.

In this role, you will:

Develop Pulse's user research capability to design and create product experiences that add value to our users

·
Run in depth research studies, question and interview users, synthesise results and deliver unbiased research

·
Know our target market and empathise with their challenges while creating solutions and experiences that will deliver the most value to them

·
Build your own concepts and approaches to work

·
Collaborate with pulse team members and contribute to how we build our product

Desired profile



Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

· 
Experience in consumer lead product development or design

· 
Comfortable to get hands-on with and working within a start-up environment

· 
Passionate about product lead research and design

· 
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate impact

· 
Ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several small internal teams

· 
Comfortable in creating own methodology and strategy

· 
Align user research plans and activities with wider team objectives and priorities

· 
Experience developing and evolving design standards in early-stage companies, or re-designing experiences and standards in an organization

The base location for this role is WeWork Waterloo, York Road, London.
