Role: Project Manager (Change Management)
Location: Pune

Purpose of the Job (overall high level summary of the job)

IT Change Manager role is based within Global CMB Technology RTB Transformation team.
Manage the CMB change management practices. Ensure the Change Managers from the Engineering/Devops Pods in each of the product areas/pods are adhering to the CMB change standards. Manage the requirements of the Community of Practice and deliver continual improvements either directly within CMB or via engagement with the broader group change management team. Maintain relationship with the group change team, contribute to continual process improvements which CMB will benefit from, also take central change initiatives and drive them down into the CMB via the Community of Practice Maintain KPIs / objectives, produce MI determining whether change objectives are being met and where not work with appropriate CoP members to deliver service improvements

• Document the procedures and process flows to be followed for change management.
• Aid in the rollout of these processes to various services.
• Mediate at times of conflict to ensure all changes can be performed in the required timescale.
• Provide management information on number and quality of changes.
• Work with Project Managers and CMB Application Services team to determine the requirements of both areas.
• Document the procedures and process flows to be followed for transitioning of new / upgraded services.
• Aid in the rollout of these processes to various services.
• Produce MI showing the quality of project implementations to feed back to development teams.
• Ensure process documents are reviewed on a regular basis and amended when necessary.
• Ensure all support related standards, documentation and procedures are followed.
• Ensure that audit requirements have been taken into account.
• Should be approachable & maintain congenial work environment.
• Should participate & encourage team participation in organisational & departmental initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards re system changes.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance with all internal controls.

• Being able to balance the needs of the business to introduce new functionality and resolve issues quickly with the requirement of ensuring there is no adverse impact on the production service.
• Being able to balance the needs of the business to introduce a new service/new functionality quickly with the requirements of the CMB Application Services team to ensure the service is supportable.
• Being able to multi-task, prioritize tasks and manage work-load on a continually changing basis.
• Maintaining communications with a diverse group of people with differing technical knowledge and differing priorities.
• Continuously driving for system improvement.

CMB RTB Transition is a global team located in the UK, China and India
The jobholder, located in India, will be responsible for performing various assignments depending on needs. The jobholder needs to understand and work on complex and critical systems; should have a good technical understanding; should be able to learn fast and retain the learning; and should possess good organizational skills.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Solid understanding of ITIL or Application Services concepts
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong process implementation and management skills
Ability to prioritize own workload and meet agreed deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated success in key stakeholder management
Experience of using IT systems and reporting tools
Ability to multi-task efficiently
Knowledge of Commercial Banking Domain is preferable.
Knowledge of Payment & Cash Management systems and Gateways like SWIFT is preferable.
Familiarity with Change and Release Management procedures is preferable.
Ability to work as part of a Global virtual team across multiple regions.

Technical skills
- Good basic knowledge of Mainframe and Unix based systems
- Excellent knowledge of Service Management tools such as GSD
- EXCEL experience preferred.
- COGNOS experience preferred.
