Operations - Mortgage Services

Hang Seng’s Operations is a team of experienced banking operations professionals who strives for delivering time-to-market, efficient and world-class processing services to customers, corporations, financial institutions and internal units. In Mortgage Services, we support the processing and credit monitoring of mortgages and overdraft products.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Mortgage Services Officer.

Principal responsibilities

· Perform the daily tasks assigned by the supervisors and ensure all tasks can be completed timely and accurately. Identify the processes streamlining and cost savings opportunities, and suggest to the supervisors and above the streamlining/cost savings initiatives. Provide support to supervisors and above to complete accurately the tasks assigned to the team and section on time.
· Ensure that all transactions are processed within performance level agreements (PLAs) and in line with the global business demand statements.
· Maintain and improve the delivery of “superior” customer service by working as directed by management.
· Process customer instructions accurately in accordance with agreed quality standards.
· Demonstrate ways to increase productivity and improve service quality.
· Apply knowledge of relevant operational manuals (including the Ops FIM), anti-money laundering, sanctions and internal procedures/polices and regulatory requirements of the business to ensure suspicious transactions are promptly escalated and to continually evaluate the operational risks inherent in the process.
· Ensure that transactions are executed in accordance with the established procedures and standards.

Requirements

·  Completed secondary school education
·  Minimum 2 years’ experience in banking, with solid experience in handling credit administration and loan operations
·  Self-motivated, good communication and a team player
·  Proficiency in both English and Chinese
·  Ability to work independently and under pressure
·  Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
