Key Objectives for Fraud Detection Specialist :

This position is accountable to AVP Payment Operations and is responsible to handle CLS payments . This position is primarily responsible to ensure that CLS payments are processed timely and secondly to assist with volume of processing and administration of incoming wire payments that can be processed during the hours of this shift.

This position is primarily responsible to handle a few payments related to CLS operations; which are carried out during non-regular banking hours and need to be monitored with high priority. Payments are few but critical and require being processed timely within CLS timelines to avoid any risk or penalties to the bank.

Principle Accountabilities:

· Process of CLS payments within a given time frame, assist in CLS contingency by arranging to send manual critical CLS payments to CLS Bank to avoid financial charge.
· Ensure proper procedures, contingency fax forms and reports are accessible in prepare for CLS emergencysituation.
· Systems monitoring and to report any Links/Queues failure for immediate follow up action.
· Some support to payments Operations for approving and releasing GPS payments on bank's automated system ensuring all transactions requiring same day/immediate actions have been completed and intraday deadlines are met.
· Assist in Iron Mountain packing/storage.
· Apply compliance; maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators; adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report issues and operational loss events. Abide by human resources and other HSBC policies in support of our ethical and respectful work environment.
· Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
· Authorized limit granted: to release payments on GPS/GMG up to $3 Billion
· Familiar with CLS contingency procedures, not meeting CLS deadlines or incorrect keystroke errors can be very costly in terms of penalties and can negatively impact the Bank's reputation.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:

·  This position requires an individual with 2 to 3 years practical and/or related experience in payments Services.
·  A complete and diverse knowledge of the Bank's operating system including GMG/LVTS/ GPS/HSBCnet and HABS and all other related system etc.
·  Attention to detail and effective follow-up skills.
·  Ability to work within established time guidelines
·  Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
·  Excellent communication skills – written and oral
·  Cope with the hours of business required for this job – 11:30 pm to 8:00 am. from Sunday to Thursday
