We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Financial Analyst, Telecommunications Services.

In this role, you will:

· Oversee the financial management activities within Telecommunication Services

Ø Opex

Ø Capex

Ø Asset Register

Ø Accruals/Prepayments

Ø Budgeting

Ø Forecasting

Ø Cost Approvals

Ø Manage headwinds

Ø Rates setting

· Close liaison with ITID TS Staff

· Support financial business planning activities

· Support the decision making of leadership positions by use of management information, business performance information, analytics, forums, stakeholder feedback and HSBC strategy.

· Support the TS Financial Lead in forums and committees to represent view of business area

· Support the TS Financial Lead in implementing and monitoring of internal financial governance activities

Investigating and seeking remedies for discrete financial issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performance

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

· Extensive financial analyst experience & knowledge

· Detailed understanding of the financial planning cycle, rate setting and cost management

· Experience working with annual operations plans and multi-million dollar global programs and initiatives

· Sound knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications landscape and industry

· Experience with supporting the spend on large global transition projects or service improvements

· Experience of working in a global team

The base location for this role is Barnsley.
