We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities
• Participate as a scrum team member and responsible for all the activities in the stories
• Ensure the stories delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality.
• Attend every standup and other agile ceremonies
• Assist with the development and drive the adoption of an integration strategy for Retail Broking systems with particular focus on use of APIs.
• Participate in the system integration activities with other teams and make sure the solution complies with group architecture policies and standards
• Design, develop automated test cases during development process and make sure the test cases are incorporate into the daily build process
• Assist the team to transit the Retail Broking system into microservices architecture; design the roadmap and participate for the full deployment of microservices to the Cloud platform.
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
• 2-5 years of overall IT experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Hibernate, API, Spring Boot, Postgress, J2EE, SQL, Spring Batch, Jasper reporting.
• API development, RESTful services, Spring Boot. AWS Cloud - Cloudwatch , Kafka , Lambda , Elastic Cache.
• Familiarity with the Linux/Unix operating system.
• Good analysis and trouble shooting skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills as he/she has to work in global environments.
• Proven ability to define and build architecturally sound solution designs.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Devops Champion and should have ability to adopt latest tools and practices that ensures high quality deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team as a Technical Lead.
• Ability to learn fast and rapidly assimilate new ideas.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and fluent in English.
