Global Communications, designs and implements communications strategies which support HSBC's business objectives, in line with our values, and enhance and protect our reputation among key stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Communications Officer, Commercial Banking .

Principal responsibilities

· Assist in the development of a compelling communications strategy for the Group in Commercial Banking Asia Pacific and ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the plan
· Help foster a values based corporate culture through leadership messaging and employee communications
· Assist in monitor regulatory, polticial, business and customer trends that could impact the Bank's reputation in Commercial Banking Asia Pacific
· Assist on issues management planning for reputation risks with material impact on the Group's reputation in Commercial Banking Asia Pacific
· Deliver timely and effective information to Group communications to mitigate any contagion from country and region to Group issues and vice versa
· Provide support to Commercial Banking Asia Pacific Communications team to develop plan and implement employee engagement programme
· Tracking of executive travel and diary arrangement to agree venue and times of events and engagements
· Work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure zero fault tolerant event logistics management

Requirements

·  ​University degree holder with proven track record
·  Ability to produce clear, engaging content.
·  Strong presentation skills.
·  Credibility with management.
·  Good knowledge of the financial services industry and global markeplace.
·  Knowledge of communication trends, best practice media relations and employee communications tools.
·  Ability to develop and manage budgets.
·  Ability to project manage and support logistics
·  Ability to deal with ambiguity and pressurised situations.
·  Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Chinese as an added benefit
