Job description

The Client Audit Analyst, Receivables Finance role is based within Credit Advisory & Client Audit.

The role of the Client Audit Analyst, Receivables Finance is to lead and manage audit activity on existing clients and new business prospects.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Produce quality audit reports which identify, highlight and mitigate all risk and service issues
· Work in close liaison with client management units, sales teams and with Receivable Finance Asset Advisory
· Independently, and objectively, identify and manage risks through appropriate auditing
· Ascertain the value of the assets purchased, or to be purchased, under the client's agreement with Receivables Finance (RF)
· Take, or recommend, action to ensure the security of the funding provided, or to be provided
· Working with others, to maintain and build upon high customer service standards by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do
· Create value by sharing technical knowledge with all staff and acting as a role model for improving standards and efficiency
· Build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Ensure positive client experiences through support, trade advice and best practices in relation to Receivables Finance (GTRF) transactions
· Ensure that GTRF Services is responsive to the requirements and expectations of the Global Businesses
· Build new relationships with Clients transferred into the portfolio whilst also providing robust messages in terms of pricing, risk appetite for future business
· To ensure service quality standards are achieved and maintained in line with the bank's stated objective to put the customer at the heart of everything we do
· Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
· Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making
· Take personal responsibility for understanding and agreeing performance expectations, completing the necessary mandatory training and developing the levels of capability and competence needed to be effective in the role
· Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment
· Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service, quality or the way teams and individuals work together
· Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures
· Continuously monitor and gather information from relevant sources to assess potential impacts and identify risks, necessary changes and business opportunities
· Apply policies, procedures, practices and standards to their allocated tasks, taking responsibility for their own actions, to ensure the achievement of high levels of quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance

Desired profile

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
·  Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Microsoft Products including Excel (pivot tables)
·  A full, valid driver's license
·  Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Accounts packages is desirable but not essential
·  Role relevant qualifications, i.e. accounts is desirable but not essential
·  A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
·  Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
·  Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
·  Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
·  Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
·  Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
·  A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these

The base location for this role is Worthing.
