Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Development Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Pro actively build and drive revenue growth from a portfolio of existing Global Trade and Receivables Finance customers.
Tailoring innovative solutions using our full suite of products and services to meet the requirements of a sophisticated customer base.
Understanding customer commercial process in terms of transaction and finance needs, rapidly adapting to changes in their trading terms and market challenges.
Working with Corporate Relationship Managers to ensure Trade facilities are well structured, efficiently established and activated in the shortest time.
Coordinating and working with other Group offices grow intra Group business, and drive cross border solutions to leverage the Bank's capabilities to its fullest.
Representing and reflecting HSBC's status in the market as the leading Trade Bank in Singapore market.
Desired profile
Requirements
Significant business development or structuring experience with good grasp of trade knowledge. University graduates with a passion to succeed in a professional organization will be highly considered.
Demonstrated ability to drive business growth with corporate customers.
Experience in dynamic environment with strong business development skills.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and skills.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
