Role Purpose / Description

We are building a digital trading platform for our business and clients by continuously deploying small changes to production every day. Our teams in Guangzhou work independently deliverying both backend services and front end web applications using a variety of technologies and frameworks, such as Jetty, Netty, Postgres, REST services on the backend and Angular, React, Vue.js on the front end. We are looking for front end or back end developers, or people who can do both.

A normal week for a developer in this role would be to discuss requirements with their team, code, test and deploy changes to production 2 or 3 times, monitor their code in production, and showing changes to their product owner.

In other words, we are looking for developers who can help us write world class software that is easy to change and maintain. We are still trying to move faster, automate more, and improve our architecture, and so this is a great opportunity for technologists who want to help make this happen.

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

We are looking for people from many backgrounds and experiences who are passionate about technology. Our main focus is on web technologies with Java backends and databases, so experience in any HTML5 and JavaScript frameworks OR experience in Java programming, or both is good. Experience in HTTP in general is a big advantage.

Most important is an open attitude, willing to learn and work with others, while taking ownership of deliveries and being responsible to deliver end to end.
