We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate, Local Large Corp .

Principal responsibilities
· Manages and develops a portfolio of corporate relationships with the aim of achieving revenue growth and increase the Bank's share of customer wallet
· To deepen client relationships and improving income generation through focused business development activities
· The jobholder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures.
· Continuously reassessing risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
· Ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring, addressing areas of concern in conjunction with Risk and relevant line colleagues, and also by ensuring that actions resulting from points raised by internal or external audits, and external regulators, are correctly implemented in a timely fashion

Desired profile

Requirements
·  Satisfactory ability to gain substantial business for the Group across a full range of products.
·  Good track record of building & developing long term relationships including at key decision maker level for all clients.
·  Satisfactory working knowledge of HSBC Group and products, and a good network of contacts across all business areas.
·  Satisfactory record of proactively developing and originating client solutions.
·  Good understanding of risk management and risk mitigation.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
